The event formerly known as Generation Hydrogen took place online event on May 19, 2021. It was centered around the theme of trailblazing hydrogen technology. First came a Challenge, followed by a Marketplace of Ideas to showcase finalists and experts’ innovations. Close to 1K entered the challenge buzzing with ideas and registered to the event to launch into the world of trailblazers. The event formerly known as Generation Hydrogen brought together students, experts, and all those fighting climate change with green hydrogen. It was a place to show the world how hydrogen innovation will impact our lives. A platform for those working on hydrogen to raise their voice, help each other and propel the energy transition with green hydrogen.

We challenged creative minds around the globe to design devices for hydrogen applications. The challenge connected the hydrogen industry with brilliant individuals who share the same vision: Staving off climate change with our power to invent.

 

Over merely ten weeks we collected 93 wild hydrogen ideas! The top 10 finalists pitched their ideas at the online event. 4 winners were selected.

On the 19.05.21 the Marketplace showcased the most exciting trailblazing hydrogen applications – and the ideas of the Hydrogen Challenge finalists.

 

The Marketplace was an active rendezvous to bring together anyone passioanate about green hydrogen and accelerate the exchange of ideas.

 

Participants were students, institutes and young companies working on next-generation technologies. We discussed innovations, learnings and vision, from development in the lab to the impact on our lives.
